An Elderly shopper was possibly injured[05-18-2023] Elderly Shopper Possibly Injured After Car Crash in Dollar Store on New Airport Road after a car crash in Auburn on Thursday, May 18, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at the Dollar Tree on New Airport Road in North Auburn.

The incident occurred when the driver’s dog unexpectedly jumped into the car’s footwell, leading to the driver’s foot inadvertently pressing on the accelerator.

At the time of the incident, the car was not in the park as the driver pulled into a parking stall. Consequently, the vehicle crossed the curb and crashed through the store’s window.

After the incident, the elderly shopper managed to avoid a direct impact from the car; however, they did fall due to the collision. There is a possibility that the shopper sustained injuries and was subsequently transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
