A man died after being struck by a car in Rocklin on Thursday night, May 18, 2023.

The Rocklin Police Department said the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. at Stanford Ranch Road and Park Drive.

According to the report, the man was hit by a car driven by a woman while he was helping to move ducks off the road.

The driver responsible for the accident remained at the scene.

Following the incident, the road was temporarily closed for several hours as authorities investigated the incident.
