[05-18-2023] 23-Year-Old Motorcyclist Died Following Two-Vehicle Collision in MurrietaA 23-year-old motorcyclist died following a two-vehicle collision in Murrieta early Thursday evening, May 18, 2023.

According to the Murrieta Police Department, the fatal collision happened around 6:31 p.m. between Whitewood Road and Hellebore Street.

A motorcyclist named Mason Y. was heading southbound along Whitewood when he collided with a sedan driven by a 17-year-old girl.

The victim sustained severe injuries, which he succumbed to a few minutes later. The female driver did not sustain any injuries.

The authorities are currently investigating the fatal collision.
