[05-19-2022] Alameda County, CA - Unidentified Pedestrian Critically Injured in Collision with Vehicle in Medallion DriveAccording to Union City Police, a major traffic collision injured an unidentified pedestrian in Union City Thursday afternoon, May 19, 2022.

The officers responded to the collision at 4:07 p.m. at the intersection of Whipple Road and Medallion Drive.

The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital with major injuries.

The driver remained on the scene. Police said it appears the driver was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

There is no other information about the crash. Union City police need the public’s assistance in investigating the major traffic collision.
