[05-19-2022] San Diego County, CA – Hit-and-Run Crash in Spring Valley Injures One Pedestrian

A pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Spring Valley on Thursday, May 19, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 3:50 a.m. in the 2000 block of Bancroft Drive, near Rosedale Drive.

The unidentified victim was reportedly struck by an unknown vehicle.

The victim, who was possibly homeless, was taken to the hospital by paramedics.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
