Three individuals, including passengers, were injured[05-19-2023] Three Severely Injured, Including Two Passengers, After Two-Vehicle DUI Crash in Oakland in a two-vehicle DUI crash in Oakland on Friday evening, May 19, 2023.

The local authorities said the incident occurred around 10:15 p.m. at Foothill Boulevard and Church Street in East Oakland.

The alleged drunk driver was arrested following the collision, in which one individual was gravely injured. The two passengers in the car and the driver of the other vehicle also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have confirmed that alcohol played a role in the collision. The identity of the critically injured passenger will be withheld until their family members have been notified.
