[05-20-2022] Los Angeles County, CA - One Person Dead, Another Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Verdugo BoulevardOne person was killed, and another was injured following a fatal crash on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway at the southbound Glendale (2) on Friday, May 20, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the parking lot of United Artists theaters in the 1900 block of Verdugo Boulevard.

CHP Officer Boyd stated that the officers noticed a black BMW in the theater parking lot when they arrived around 12:42 p.m. It appeared to have exited the eastbound 210 at the 2 transition.

The BMW collided with a parked car in the parking lot.

One of the passengers in that vehicle suffered minor injuries.

The male driver of the BMW was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire.

The crash remains under investigation.
