A two-vehicle crash sent three people to the hospital on McClelland Street Sunday afternoon, May 22, 2022.
Santa Maria Fire Department said the collision occurred at 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of Donovan Road and McClelland Street.
People had to be extricated from the wrecked cars, and three patients were transported to Marian Medical Center.
Right now, the cause of the crash has not been determined.
Currently, it is unclear whether a significant part of the crash was contributed by drugs or alcohol.
There are still ongoing investigations into the cause of the crash.
