[05-23-2023] One Individual Injured After Hit-and-Run Accident on Highway 1 in PacificaOne individual sustained a minor injury after a hit-and-run accident in Pacifica on Tuesday morning, May 23, 2023.

The Pacifica Police said the incident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. at State Highway 1 and Fassler Avenue.

According to the report, the driver of a vehicle stated that their car was struck by another vehicle, resulting in minor injuries without any significant harm.

During the collision, the suspect’s vehicle was heading northbound on the highway toward Fassler Avenue, similar to a Toyota Camry with a white or light-colored appearance.

Following the collision, the suspect’s vehicle sustained noticeable front-end damage and promptly fled the scene, continuing its journey north.

The authorities have requested public assistance in locating the suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
