According to the San Francisco Police Department, the crash happened around 12:40 p.m. in the area of Ellis and Jones Streets.
Authorities stated that a pedestrian sustained serious injuries after being struck by a truck. They were transported to the hospital for treatment but later died. The victim’s identity has not been released, and it is unknown what caused the collision.
