[05-24-2022] Orange County, CA - One Person Killed After a Deadly Wrong-Way Crash in Rancho Santa MargaritaA 27-year-old woman identified as Natalia Vaca G. was killed after a deadly head-on collision in Long Beach on Tuesday night, May 24, 2022.

The accident occurred at around 10:10 p.m. on Antonio Parkway in Rancho Santa Margarita in Long Beach.

A southbound vehicle was traveling on Antonio Parkway at high speeds when the driver drifted across the center median for unclear reasons.

The southbound vehicle then drove into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an oncoming northbound vehicle near Tijera Creek Road.

The driver of the first vehicle was killed in the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, her passenger and another driver were treated by medics, and the extent of their injuries was not disclosed.

Local authorities are further investigating the cause of the fatal accident.
