A man in his twenties was injured in a bicycle accident in Fresno on Thursday morning, May 26.
The crash occurred around 7:00 a.m. on Clinton Avenue and Blythe Avenue.
According to preliminary findings, the bicyclist failed to stop at a red light on Clinton Avenue and was struck by a vehicle.
When emergency crews arrived, the cyclist was taken to the hospital with several broken bones.
He was expected to recover well.
The involved vehicle’s driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
According to authorities, drugs and alcohol are not believed to have played a role in the accident.
There are no other details available at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
