According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the crash involved three unidentified vehicles and occurred around 1:56 p.m. at East Edinger and South Grand Avenues.

Authorities stated that one person was briefly trapped inside the vehicle before self-extricating and was examined by medical professionals before being sent to a nearby hospital. Another patient declined to be transported.

No further information was released about the crash or the identities of those involved. It is unknown whether alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
