A person was transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle DUI hit-and-run collision in Twentynine Palms on Monday afternoon, May 29, 2023.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at Encelia Avenue and El Paseo Drive around 12:00 p.m.

Witness testimony states that they followed a vehicle that fled the scene of the incident. The suspect is Jason L., a 45-year-old resident of Joshua Tree.

County Fire paramedics transported the victim to a nearby medical center.

Llamado was found to have been driving under the influence of drugs and with an expired license. He has since then been taken and booked into West Valley Detention Center.
