[05-29-2023] Several People, One Dog Injured Following Solo-Vehicle Crash in DevoreSeveral people and a dog were injured in a single-vehicle crash in Devore, San Bernardino, on Monday morning, May 29, 2023.

Authorities said the crash happened on the Interstate 15 overpass to the Interstate 215 interchange at around 5:56 a.m.

Photographs by Kevin G. show the vehicle plunged into the embankment from a bridge overpass. A dog named Duchess was ejected from the vehicle, fled the scene, and is still being searched for.

It is uncertain how many were hurt and if other vehicles were involved while the authorities investigated. All the vehicle’s occupants were transported to Loma Linda Medical Center with minor to moderate injuries. The dog is believed to have also sustained injuries with cuts to the back legs.

It is uncertain whether drugs or alcohol played a part in this incident.
