[05-30-2022] Contra Costa County, CA - Injuries Reported After a Major Bike Crash at Briones Park TrailAt least one mountain biker was injured after a bicycle collision in Martinez on Monday evening, May 30, 2022.

The major accident happened at approximately 7:00 p.m. on a trail in east Bay at Briones Park in Martinez.

Two people were riding their mountain bikes on a trail in East Bay when hte collision took place. It’s unclear what caused the accident to occur.

Emergency personnel were called to the scena dn they found one rider with serious injuries. The victim was airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
