[05-31-2023] Bicyclist Killed Following DUI Hit-And-Run Collision Near ClovisA bicyclist was killed following a DUI hit-and-run collision near Clovis on Wednesday evening, May 31, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened around 7:00 p.m. between Herndon Avenue and Locan Avenue.

A bicyclist whose identity remains undisclosed was struck by a drunk 36-year-old truck driver who left the scene without rendering aid to the victim.

The victim later died while the driver was located at his home, where the authorities arrested him and later booked him into the Fresno County Jail for DUI, hit-and-run, and vehicular manslaughter.
