[06-03-2023] Los Angeles County, CA – 26-Year-Old Female Semi-Truck Driver Killed Following Hit-and-Run in Sun Valley

A 26-year-old female semi-truck driver was killed after a hit-and-run collision in Sun Valley, Los Angeles City, on Saturday morning, June 3, 2023.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the incident occurred on Lankershim Boulevard near Cayuga Avenue at around 4:00 a.m.

The driver of a blue 2015 Nissan Versa was heading northbound on Lankershim Boulevard when they struck a semi-truck from behind. The Nissan driver then fled the scene.

The victim was declared dead by the authorities.
