[06-04-2022] Nevada County, CA - Woman Killed After a Deadly Head-On Crash in Grass ValleyAn unidentified 37-year-old woman was killed following a fatal two-vehicle crash near Chalk Bluff Road on Saturday evening, June 4, 2022.

The fatal collision transpired at approximately 6:30 p.m. on State Route 20, just east of Chalk Bluff Road.

An eastbound Acura was traveling on State Route 20 at high speeds when the driver veered into the westbound side on a curve and collided head-on with an oncoming westbound Ford F350.

A 37-year-old female passenger inside the Acura was killed in the crash; she was pronounced dead.

The Acura driver was seriously injured and taken to UC Davis Medical Center for treatment. Meanwhile, the Ford driver was also seriously injured while his passenger sustained moderate injuries; they were also transported to an area hospital for treatment.

The California Highway Patrol is further investigating the cause of the fatal collision. They will attempt to determine the factors and the liability in the case.
