[06-04-2022] Orange County, CA - Pedestrian Crash in Santa Ana Results in One Fatality and One InjuryTwo pedestrians were struck by a vehicle while crossing the street in Santa Ana on Saturday, June 4, 2022.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the crash occurred around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday in the 4700 block of First Street.

One of the pedestrians died on the spot, while the other was taken to the hospital.

The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene and cooperated.

According to police, alcohol was not a factor in the collision.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
