[06-04-2023] Orange County, CA – Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash in Tustin Claims Life of 67-Year-Old Woman in DUI Incident

A 67-year-old elderly woman was killed in a DUI collision involving five vehicles in Tustin on Sunday evening, June 4, 2023.

According to the authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 5:15 p.m. at Barranca Parkway and Tustin Ranch Road.

The report said a 25-year-old man from Santa Ana was speeding westbound on Barranca Parkway at 80 miles per hour when he disregarded a red light, causing the collision with the victim’s vehicle.

The woman was traveling southbound on Tustin Ranch Road and was in the process of crossing Barranca Parkway.

Both the suspect and the victim were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, but sadly, the woman succumbed to her injuries.

Alcohol and excessive speed were contributing factors in the crash.
