A male pedestrian was injured and hospitalized after being struck by a train in Sacramento County on Sunday afternoon, June 4, 2023.

The Sacramento Police Department said the incident occurred at approximately 2:03 p.m. on 20th and H streets.

According to the report, a pedestrian, identified as a male, was involved in a collision with a BNSF Railway train. The pedestrian, who was not in a vehicle at the time of the incident, suffered injuries determined to be non-life-threatening.
