[06-04-2023] San Diego County, CA – Passenger Died, Driver Injured After Single-Vehicle DUI Crash in Oceanside

A passenger died, and a driver was injured after a single-vehicle DUI crash in Oceanside early Sunday morning, June 04, 2023.

According to the Oceanside Police Department, the fatal crash happened around 1:54 a.m. along eastbound SR-76 and Airport Road.

A 29-year-old driver named Guillermo P. was traveling east on SR-76 when he lost control and crashed into a nearby tree.

The 30-year-old passenger was declared dead, while the driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

The passenger’s information remained undisclosed, and Pacheco was arrested on suspicion of DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
