According to local officials, a man was killed in an early morning collision between a semi-truck and an SUV in San Dimas on Monday, June 6, 2022.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision occurred just before 3:00 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the San Bernardino (10) Freeway at Via Verde Street.
According to a CHP log, the semi-truck was a tanker carrying about 80,000 pounds of gasoline, but none of it was leaking.
All lanes were reopened after a brief closure.
There are no other details available.
The crash remains under investigation.
