One person was injured after a law enforcement vehicle collided with another car in Clovis on Tuesday evening, June 6, 2023.
According to the Clovis Police Department, the incident occurred around 7:00 p.m. on Shaw Avenue near the Buffalo Wild Wings and the Save Mart Center.
The report said that two officers were responding to a theft report at Dick’s Sporting Goods and en route to Highway 168 when the collision happened.
Before the police unit could enter the freeway, it unexpectedly collided with another vehicle. Fortunately, the two officers involved in the incident sustained no injuries.
However, an individual in the other vehicle complained of pain in one of their limbs, according to Clovis police.
Authorities stated that they do not suspect alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing.
