According to preliminary information, the crash occurred just after 11:00 p.m. on Angeles Crest Highway at mile marker 27.

According to preliminary reports, a Tesla driver missed a turn on Angeles Crest Highway and drove off the edge of a cliff, about 400 feet down, trapping four people.

The four trapped patients were airlifted to a landing zone where Care Ambulances rushed them to local hospitals with the help of the LACoFD air unit and search and rescue.

The extent of the victims’ injuries is still unknown at this time.
