[06-10-2023] Bicyclist Fatally Struck by Vehicle in Lake ElsinoreA bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Lake Elsinore on Saturday evening, June 10, 2023.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said the incident occurred at approximately 9:51 p.m. at Railroad Canyon Road and Canyon Lake Drive in Canyon Lake.

Authorities arrived and discovered a vehicle that had collided with a bicyclist. Unfortunately, the rider was thrown from their bicycle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The vehicle driver involved in the collision did not sustain any injuries.

The identity of the victim is currently unavailable.

The investigation is ongoing.
