According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the crash occurred around 9:30 p.m. between Silver Lake Boulevard and Berkeley Avenue near a bend in the road.
Authorities stated that officers discovered the seriously injured woman lying in the middle of the street. She was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Officers spent the night searching the area, gathering evidence, and speaking with witnesses. One witness saw the woman standing outside her car just before being hit.
