[06-12-2023] Fiery Crash Involving Two Vehicles on 57 Freeway in San Dimas Results in Minor InjuriesAt least one person was injured after a fiery crash involving two vehicles in San Dimas on Monday morning, June 12, 2023.

The local authorities responded, and according to them, the incident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway, just before reaching the 10 Freeway.

The report said the collision occurred between a Mercedes and the central divider, leading to the Mercedes catching fire. Firefighters were seen actively extinguishing the flames.

Simultaneously, a Toyota veered off course to avoid the Mercedes, colliding with a roadside light pole.

Rescue teams had to extract the trapped driver from the Toyota. Fortunately, no major injuries were reported.

An investigation is being conducted to determine the cause of the initial crash.
