[06-15-2023] Traffic Collision in Indio Leaves Two People HospitalizedTwo people were hospitalized following a traffic collision in Indio on Thursday morning, June 15, 2023.

According to the Indio Fire Department, the crash was reported around 9:21 a.m. on Avenue 48 near Arabia Street. Firefighters arrived at the scene and discovered two patients, one trapped inside the vehicle.

Authorities stated that the trapped patient was extricated, and both patients were transferred by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital, one with minor injuries and the other with slight to moderate injuries.

The authorities did not disclose how many vehicles were involved in the incident. Anyone with information is urged to contact the police as soon as possible.

The investigation into the collision continues.
