[06-18-2022] Calaveras County, CA - Three People Injured in Motorcycle Crash on Pool Station RoadThree motorcyclists were involved in a collision while driving on Pool Station Road on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

The crash occurred at 3:35 p.m. on Pool Station Road.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), Jason L., 50, was traveling east on Pool Station when Jose M., 49, and Jose S., 51, collided with him.

According to a CHP press release, Logan was traveling east at an unknown speed as he approached the other motorcycles.

Mendoza and Sanchez were moving westward at a speed of about 30 to 35 mph.

Logan allowed his vehicle to cross the solid double yellow lines and move into the westbound lane as all three vehicles entered a curve in the road. Logan then collided with the side of Sanchez and Mendoza’s vehicles as a result. The drivers were ejected when all of the involved vehicles overturned onto the pavement.

The road was blocked to aid in patient care and scene investigation.

Along with Sanchez, of Stockton, who sustained minor injuries, Logan, of Roseville, who sustained serious injuries, was taken to Memorial Medical Center. Mendoza, a resident of Manteca, was taken to Doctors Medical Center after suffering serious injuries.

The CHP does not believe that using drugs or alcohol was a factor to the collision.
