[06-18-2022] San Francisco County, CA - Six People Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Marina DistrictAt least six people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash involving a Muni bus and an SUV in San Francisco on Saturday, June 18, 2022.

The crash occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Lombard and Fillmore streets in the city’s Marina District.

According to officials, multiple vehicles were involved, and several people, including pedestrians, were injured.

At least six people were injured and had to be taken to the hospital, but they are expected to recover.

The SUV’s driver was detained, according to police.

According to some witnesses, the man arrested had been driving recklessly throughout the city prior to the accident.

John Bartley said that this white vehicle appeared to be traveling at least 89 to 90 miles per hour.

According to witnesses, the SUV was speeding when it collided with the Muni bus.

Kingsbury said that the driver jumped off the bus, jumped back on, and grabbed the driver.

Multiple vehicles were involved, according to officials.

Police were unable to determine whether the driver was intoxicated or if the SUV they were driving was theirs.

The crash remains under investigation.
