A pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash near the southbound 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles early Friday morning, June 20, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded around 4:45 a.m. to the area of Third Street and Beaudry Avenue after receiving reports that someone had been struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian, whose age has not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. It was unclear whether the victim was struck on the freeway itself or on a nearby city street.
The incident remains under investigation, and no suspect or vehicle description has been provided.
