[06-22-2022] San Luis Obispo County, CA - One Person Injured After Car Crashes into Apartment on Orcutt RoadOne person was injured after an SUV struck an apartment in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday morning, June 22, 2022.

The crash occurred around 6:30 in the morning in the 1100 block of Orcutt Road.

A white SUV’s driver lost control and slammed into the front wall of an apartment building. Fire departments and police were dispatched to the scene.

The occupant was inside the apartment at the time of the collision.

According to Shayne Skove, Battalion Chief with the San Luis Obispo City Fire Department, the person was transported to the hospital with minor injuries.

Skove reported that the car’s driver walked away from the collision unharmed.

The apartment was left with a gaping hole and debris after the car was towed out of it.
