[06-22-2023] 22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Severely Injured After Collision with SUV on Camino Del Rio NorthA 22-year-old motorcyclist was severely injured after colliding with a Chevrolet Suburban SUV in San Diego on Thursday afternoon, June 22, 2023.

An investigation by the San Diego Police Department revealed that the crash occurred around 4:53 p.m. at 900 Camino Del Rio North, where the victim was driving a black 2023 Ducati motorcycle.

Authorities stated that a 28-year-old man driving the Suburban pulled in front of the victim and attempted to pass him unsafely, resulting in a broadside collision with the motorcyclist.

Officials said the motorcycle rider suffered several fractures and other serious injuries, while the Suburban driver was not hurt. The collision was not caused by drugs or alcohol, police said.
