[06-24-2022] Fresno County, CA - Two People Injured Following Food Trailer Explosion on Shaw AvenueTwo people were injured after a truck pulling a food trailer suddenly burst into flames, scattering debris hundreds of feet away in Fresno on Friday, June 24, 2022.

The explosion occurred on Friday afternoon on the northeast corner of First Street and Shaw Avenue.

The cars were parked next to a gas station.

The Fresno Investigators are working to determine the precise cause of the fire.

A male adult was transported by personal vehicle. A male juvenile with burns was taken by ambulance to the hospital after at least one person connected to the trailer was hurt.

One of them entered a nearby business while bleeding and requested help.

A well-known food truck in town is called Planet Vegan.

The car’s window at Chase Bank across First St. was shattered by flying debris.

The police blocked off the street while firefighters looked for any damage to nearby businesses.
