[06-24-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – 67-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed by Amtrak Train in NoHo

According to the authorities, a 67-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed by an Amtrak Pacific Surfliner train in North Hollywood Friday, June 24, 2022.

The Firefighters said the crash occurred around 10:15 p.m. at 12323 Sherman Way, near the Hollywood (170) Freeway.

Thomas A. was located and identified at the scene, according to Margaret Stewart, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.

According to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office, paramedics diagnosed Alderete with “multiple blunt force injuries” and declared him dead at the scene.

There were no additional information about the collision released.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
