Two people were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle collision in Burbank early Saturday morning, June 24, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 4:43 a.m. along the southbound 5 Freeway.
An unknown vehicle struck a patrol vehicle that was at the scene of a multi-vehicle crash. The vehicle’s driver and another person from the prior crash were taken to a local hospital.
The number of vehicles and people involved in the collision is still undetermined, while the extent of injuries received and the current condition of the two victims remain undisclosed.
The authorities have not released further information about the collision.
