[06-26-2022] San Francisco County, CA – One Person Killed in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Bay Bridge

One person was killed in a fatal two-vehicle collision just west of the Bay Bridge toll booth on Sunday, June 26, 2022.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred just before 9:00 p.m. near the westbound Bay Bridge toll.

A second car was discovered upside down in the slow lane.

According to CHP, the person was declared dead at the scene despite urgent efforts to save the victim’s life.

The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
