[06-30-2022] Humboldt County, CA - Two-Vehicle Collision involving a Truck Injured One Near CostcoAccording to the authorities, a two-vehicle crash sent at least one person to the hospital near the Costco store in Eureka Thursday, June 30, 2022.

The crash occurred just after 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Wabash Avenue and Koster Street near the Holiday Inn Express and Suites.

A white SUV suffered significant driver-side damage, and images from the scene show several driver-side airbags were deployed.

The Eureka Police Department said one person in the car was taken to the hospital, but their condition is unknown.

Police also said the other vehicle involved was a City of Eureka truck.

The large yellow truck appeared to have damage to its front end, but nobody in the truck was injured.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
