Several individuals were injured following a suspected DUI crash in Madera County on Saturday evening, July 1, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on Lucky Lane near Buck Run Lane shortly before 7:30 p.m.
The report stated that the driver of a GMC Sierra allegedly crossed over the center line, resulting in a head-on collision with a Dodge Challenger.
The driver of the Dodge Challenger sustained and suffered minor injuries. On the other hand, the female passenger in the GMC Sierra also suffered injuries from the crash.
The male driver of the GMC Sierra sustained a broken ankle. He was arrested and airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center for medical treatment.
The individuals’ identities in the collision remain undisclosed as the investigation continues.
