One person was killed following a vehicle and motorcycle collision in Pauma Valley, San Diego County, on Sunday evening, July 02, 2023.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal collision happened around 6:30 p.m. along Sengme Oaks Road and SR-76, near the La Jolla Indian Reservation and Lake Henshaw.
A 33-year-old motorcyclist was riding a Yamaha Tenere 700 when he struck the back of a Toyota Tacoma driver. This caused the rider to be ejected from the motorcycle.
The victim was declared dead at the scene and his identity remains undisclosed, while the condition of the Toyota driver is still unknown.
The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal collision.
