[07-04-2022] Marin County, CA – Swimmer Injured in Boating Accident in Tomales Bay

According to rescuers, a man swimming was critically injured after getting struck by a boat in Tomales Bay on Monday, July 4, 2022.

The accident occurred at 3:30 p.m. off the coast of Northern California.

According to a press release, rescuers from various organizations treated the injured swimmer on a dock before being flown to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital by a CHP helicopter.

A trauma team attended to him. The agency did not disclose details regarding the man’s current health.
