[07-04-2023] Santa Barbara County, CA – 1 Juvenile Passenger Critically Injured After Traffic Collision in Santa Maria

A juvenile passenger sustained critical injuries following a traffic collision in Santa Maria on Tuesday morning, July 4, 2023.

According to Santa Maria Police Department Lt. Paul V., the incident occurred at East Donovan Road and Pepperwood Place around 5:30 a.m.

Officers arrived at the scene and found a damaged vehicle with a juvenile passenger still inside. It is unclear what events led to the incident.

The victim was in critical condition and was brought by emergency personnel to a hospital for treatment.

No information was released regarding the vehicle’s driver, the victim’s identity, and how many vehicles were involved in the accident.
