A pedestrian was injured after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Clara on Thursday afternoon, July 13, 2023.
The Santa Clara Police Department responded to the accident at Lafayette Street near Gold Street around 2:16 p.m.
There were no details as to how the accident happened. The unidentified pedestrian was sent to a local hospital after sustaining undetermined injuries.
The vehicle’s driver remained at the scene after the crash.
Authorities are still conducting their investigation.
