[07-14-2022] Los Angeles County, CA – Two People Injured in Car Crash in East Hollywood

Two people were injured in a high-speed collision in Los Angeles’ East Hollywood neighborhood early Thursday morning, July 14, 2022.

The collision occurred around 12:32 a.m. in the 1300 block of North Virgil Avenue.

Early reports indicated that a car struck three parked cars while it was speeding. The vehicle’s driver and passenger were trapped inside due to the impact.

First responders arrived and freed the driver and passenger who had been momentarily trapped inside their silver sedan.

The man and woman were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital and are in stable condition. The collision severely damaged three parked vehicles.

Residents claim that there are often fast-moving vehicles traveling south on Virgil, and they have asked for stop signs because there isn’t one at the intersection in the north yet.

There are no other details available.

The crash remains under investigation.
