According to the authorities, three people were injured after a two-vehicle crash that blocked the highway in Los Olivos Thursday, July 14, 2022.
The crash occurred at 8:40 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Highway 154 at Foxen Canyon Road.
The highway’s westbound lanes were closed while a Santa Barbara County Fire Department helicopter landed.
According to the authorities, one person suffered major injuries, and two suffered minor injuries due to the collision.
The collision, which involved a sedan and a pickup truck, resulted in the ignition of one of the vehicles, which then caught fire.
It appears that speed was a factor in the accident; however, the police have not yet determined whether or not alcohol or drugs played a role in the accident.
The investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
