[07-18-2022] Monterey County, CA -Motorcyclist killed following Motorcycle-Auto Collision near Bixby Bridge

According to the California Highway Patrol, one person was killed after a crash between a motorcycle and an automobile on Monday afternoon, July 18, 2022.

According to CHP, the crash occurred at 3:17 p.m., near Bixby Bridge, and involved a motorcycle and an automobile.

The motorcyclist died in the crash.

One-way traffic control was in place just north of the bridge at 5 p.m.

The crash’s cause is still being investigated.
