[07-20-2022] Sutter County, CA - One Teenager Killed, Two Others Injured in Fatal Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99According to California Highway Patrol Yuba-Sutter Unit, a collision resulted in a teenager’s death and two others’ injuries in Sutter County on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.

The crash occurred on Wednesday off Highway 99 in Sutter County.

The CHP report states that the Toyota driver, an 18-year-old Olivehurst resident whose name has not been released, was killed in the collision, while George S., 53, and Edward G., 20, were seriously hurt.

Sewell and Garcia were unable to avoid the wrong-way traffic and struck the Solara square in the head.

The CHP is still investigating the crash and will examine whether DUI played a role in it.
