[07-20-2022] Trinity County, CA - 74-year-old Injured After a Two-Vehicle Collision in Douglas CityA 74-year-old driver, identified as David M., suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision in Douglas City last July 20 in the afternoon.

The accident occurred on State Route 299 at around 2:20 p.m.

From State Route 3, David M. merges onto State Route 299 in the east.

The driver, David M., was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Redding for possible minor injuries.

Meanwhile, the other driver, 21-year-old Bilal A., was driving his vehicle westbound on State Route 299 with his passenger. He turned to the left to merge, causing a collision with David M.

Despite the pain complaints, Bilal A. and his passenger did not seek medical attention.

Drugs and alcohol did not play a role in the accident.
